Greenwich Leisure Ltd who run the Leisure Facilities in Eden and South Lakes held a prize draw for members during October & November 2016

Entries were made when a member referred a friend for a free trial at the centres

The prize of a Bike was kindly donated by Arragons Cycles of Penrith who along with James Pittam Personal Training are supporting the new Sufferfest Programme at both Kendal and Penrith Leisure Centres

Sufferfest is a indoor cycling programme using a series of videos on a large projector screen to mimic the outdoor experience of rides from leisurely to intense races

Classes are open to members and non – members alike

Rides can be virtual or instructor led and the whole studio can be hired out to local interested groups for sports conditioning eg Triathlon clubs, rugby teams, schools etc ideal for when the Cumbrian weather is against us!

GLL started the programme at both centres in Dec 2016 and have a series of these classes taking place throughout the week as well as standard indoor cycling classes suitable for all abilities - contact the centres for further info
